nice going man
fahmon was telling me i was hitting 11.5/12.5k ppd but those 24 dead wu i got in 1 night basically killed me, it will take me over a month of folding to get the bonus points now
After a 7 day 24hr session the top one day score was 11,702, although I think the average is about 10,000
CPU @ 4231.5 Memory @ 868 (1736MHz)
I've had fun overclocking and discovering this system. The whole kit was a joy to play with.
The only criticism I have is the motherboard BIOS.
Biostar need to improve this. The thing needing most attention is the bad overclock recovery, which I felt was practically non-existent.
Other than that the motherboard performed well enough. The overclocking options are easy to understand, not unduly complicated.
The CPU performed well. I don't know what stopped me from getting a higher clock out it. I think it's a combination of the motherboard BIOS and the silicone lottery.
The cooler performs as big as it looks.
It's not as loud as I expected considering the four 100mm fans, at night I had to turn them down 50% cos the system is in the bedroom, and the system was still cool at 4.2GHz.
I've lost my memory! Forgot where I put it. Could be my age.
Oh OK.
The memory.
Putting looks aside, I am well impressed by the memory. I maxed at 1960MHz from 1600MHz. This is the best performing ram I've come across since my old GeiL DDR2Ultra 800.
I have played and played with this system now and I can't see me getting better scores till I watercool it.
