PCI-Express starting to take hold?

It seems more and more companies are making tidbits here and there for PCI-Express... I've been seeing a lot more SATA II / RAID controller cards and NIC's for PCI-E lately.

What do you think the most useful PCI-E card would be? I'm still hoping that we see PCI-E sound cards, this would free up some much needed space for other PCI cards.

I think that a PCI-E physX card has to be in the off soon. I can see that thing taking up the 2x bandwidth that the PCI-E slot can give

Yup that would fit the bill! Nice find, didn't know that existed

Think if everything switched to PCI-E... Motherboard layouts could be soooo much better.
