PC75 Watercooled...

Hi chaps...

This is my first custom water setup... I still have a lot of things I plan to do to it yet but this is how it is now.

I still have a 120.3 Performance shroud on its way, some EP exclusive fan grills. A little more colour planning still to be done.

Then I will tidy up the cabling, add another fan controller to the Floppy drive bay and install a fan covering the Ram and PWM IC on the DFI SLI-DR.

What are you opinions so far?

the 80mm fan on the ram really helps doesn't it, i bought a silent x 80mm one and i dont get temps above 45°c during heavy load and best of all its only 14 loud.

back to your comp it is looking very nice mate. personally i dont like your pump mounting looks a bit wierd but if it worths then good!!

Keep it up dood, would mind a pic with out teh sidde pannel one though

Temps are good Phil. with 1.65vCore and the CPU running at 2900mhz (290x10) it idles at 27-30.c and when I crank up the S&M or 32m Super Pi (or BF2) im looking at around 36-38.c

This is also with my X850XT running at 560/600 so im very happy with it

I really enjoy working in and around this case... its such a good size. Makes life much easie than working in a small case!

Phillip... yeah the pump isnt in an ideal position... it should be mounted to the floor of the case but to be honest I just wanted to get it up and running as soon as i could. I would actually like to try and mount it in the HD cage but as yet I aint got round to looking at that.

I spent this morning deciding on whether SLI cards would fit on this DFI board whilst using two Silverprop HL gfx card blocks. To be honest I cannot see what the fuss is all about... there seems to be plenty of room and the block certainly doesnt hang into the space of the other PCIe slot so it should be fine... its just the tubing routing that will need work im sure!! Good job its tygon R1000 not the regular stuff

Thanx for the Fan grills Big Phil... they look really smart! Really like them i think id like another UV cathode tho... to add to the top of the case... so the top of the tubing gets a little UV Action

Those temps are mighty fine I have to say, much better than mine I might add. I was getting around 40 degrees idle (4000 SD @ 2.8ghz) with two 512mb Ultras but using a G5! I have to say this was that hot wednesday when it was over 30 degrees ambient so that didnt help and I am also curious to know how much heat both those cards were expelling. I have "downgraded" (loL!) to a XTPE so will be interesting to see what the temps are tomorrow when I rebuild.

everytime i see watercooling like this, it makes me want to order some w/c gear! [img']http://www.extremeprometeia.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

if i remember rightly i offered it to ya several times ;)

cashman mate great temps, and it looks sweet!

tho how come you havent mounted the fan directly to the G4 with the bolts?

phil the G5 is onyl at max 0.5C better than the G4, the extra card you had due to sli made the temps much higher than cashmans with your "downgrade" lol im sure your temps will be very simular to cashmans

reckon you can hit 3ghz dude? :D 2.9 is pretty close as it is

I think you'll find the G5 is a little better than that in real terms..

You're right about the temps, have just rebuilt using a single card solution and temps are 4 degrees better at idle, so its now 37 degrees @ stock.
