I want to choose which RAMs to use.
My initial choice was.
G Skill Ripjaws Z 8x8GB PC3-19200
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231523

I am also thinking of this.
4x Corsair dominator platinum PC3-19200
http://www.corsair.com/en/dominator...annel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmd16gx3m2a2400c10.html

Any way searching newegg for RAM with 8GB and are PC3-19200, i found those.

Tell me what do you think.

The processor will be probably either 3930k or 3960x.
The Board will be probably Asus Rampage IV Extreme.

you'd prolly be as well off using the CMD16GX3M2A1600C9 2x 8gb 1600.
unless you are a large power user, extreme enthusiast, or like posting
valadation numbers. saves you monster $130 for a better SSD or GPU.
even 3D rendering and CAD doesnt get a boost in clock on memory.

Unless you intend on having like a 48gb RAM cache - it really is completely pointless. No program you'll use will utilise 64gb of RAM.

No program alone.

Any way.

for now i might buy 4 x 8 or less.
But i want to know which one will be better in case i want to go for full 8x8.

So , if i get more clock speed for memory it is pointless at all ?
Can you explain in detail , thank you.

the access cycles of the RAM are faster, translated means the app will
run faster. prolly 4-30ms faster.. noticably un-noticable. if one were upgrading
from 1000 to 2000MHz then a fluid easy feeling would be noticed.. but when
CAD/CAM or rendering large files there isn't a $100 difference. i run a RAM drive
in one machine and going from 2133 to 1600 had no effect at all using 32MB
of RAM. i think 2133 was 3-5% better in ATTO benchmark between the two.
again.. app-wise no difference and gamers have said the same.. save the bucks
on high speed and spend it where it'll matter more.

Ok
G skill
or
CORSAIR dominator
or
CORSAIR vengeance
or
CORSAIR dominator platinum ?

for function either the GSkill or Corsair Vengence. for looks cant pass
the platinums without a double take..

just be careful on air-coolers as the height of the heatsinks really destroys
some uses of heatsink kits..

I know , low profile needed for some air coolers.
Any way i will be probably be using the CORSAIR Hydro H100

Any way , what do you mean by "function" ?

For getting work done!

And really man, you're just wasting your or your parents money here seemingly not understanding what you do and what you do not need.
