PC won't recognize headset?

Hello guys,

I'm having problems with my computer recognizing my headset... When I try to skype with one of my mates it doesn't work, the sound comes from the screen and he can sometimes hear noises from my side.
I can hear music on spotify just fine, but he can also hear it?

go into the skype tools>options>audio settings dude that's possibly your problem
