I researched and this is a hardware fault?

What shall I do next to find the hardware fault? How does memtest work? Is it a program that runs while on your PC or like a BIOS..download screen has made me confused?

I think its my power supply because of previous problems but now I'm not too sure.

Any help appreciated

Event ID 41 usually points to PSU issues check your connections, but could also be a piece of hardware with mixed up voltages.

I'd be more inclined to check the PSU first grab a multimeter and check the output of all rail pins and CPU cable.

Well nothing indicates a definite power failure. I would buy a power supply tester (a needed tool for any PC enthusiast) You can get a nice one for under $30.

Lets get some questions out of the way here:

What are you doing when it fails?
Are you getting a beep code after failure or pre-boot?
Are all the connections snug? This includes wiring in its 20/24 pin and 4/8 pin.
Have you tried resetting the CMOS?
