PC gamers can now see how much they have spent on Steam

okay well I knew kinda my total spend via external game collection thing that based it on lowest ever prices, it wasn't far off and I'm not surprised but yes even so £9000 is still a lot of money :(

You have spent £9000 on games? :O

Yes sadly but I've been on steam since the very first day it started, it's a long time i mostly buy in sales or off site, but over them years it soon adds up.

18 years is a long time in gaming, but i still don't regret moving away from consoles at all, lot of space saved and tbh when i sold my collection years back that at least covers half the cost of this chunk of games.

Ohhhh I get it.

It’s only for stuff you’ve bought in the Steam store.

Then mine will be fudged as I never use it lmfao.

Cdkeys ftw

I do not want to look.... That being said past 2 years I've probably only bought two games in general. Which means if I don't count those years my average is probably going to make me cry lol

I'm just over 2k post 2015 - but I've also epic games, Frontier games, Ubisoft. I've everything on IL2Sturmovik, that's probably 1.5k on its own.. Then there's the hardware

I thought I was gonna have a stroke. But this is fine. Most of my Steam games were bought on sales, so even with a library of 500+ games spanning 14 years, I still managed to stay below 1000 EUR. I am a bit proud of that, to tell you the truth. But, if we consider other stores and especially consoles, the situation quickly deteriorates.

£377 spend here, most of my games are either free or on sale though. 61 games , some I have not even played yet, have a similar amount on epic but not paid a penny there, 2 on gog and some on ubisoft
