Parts Check

I'm going to be building a new rig soon, so I just wanna make sure I'm making smart decisions on the parts I'm getting.

Intel 2500k - $180 from MicroCenter

Gigabyte Z68 UD4 - $160 from NewEgg

8Gb 1600MHz Corsair Vengeance LP - $58 from NewEgg

Corsair CX600 V2 - $63 from NewEgg Corsair TX650 V2 - $77 from NewEgg

NZXT Phantom - $105 from NewEgg

I'll be using harddrives from my old rig, and I'm going to be upgrading to a 560Ti once I get the cash, gonna be using me old 8800GTS for now.

Any thing I should change or any advice? Thanks in advanced!

I'd probably get a TX Corsair PSU instead. Build quality is a little better. Everything else looks good. What cooler will you use on the 2500k?

i agree with the Corsair TX PSU, its one of the most important things in a rig, so get a nice one

everything else looks the makings of a nice rig..

Good thing you told me about that; the TX650 is barely any money more and it even gives an extra 50watts just incase, thanks.

I will also just be using the stock intel cooler until I watercool my CPU. I'm going to be getting a 240 Rasa Kit from FrozenCpu for a steal at below $150!
