Palit Jetstream GTX780 Ti First Look

This would look good on a new asus deluxe z87 board except for the fact that J said it has a blue LED .

Look forward to seeing the full review .

Always been hesitant with Palit in the past, had a few in at work and they've been known to be quite loud, intrigued by this though

I think it would look good if you removed that cooler, swapped the PCB for a reference design, and then put a reference cooler on it. I don't like this cooler, can you tell? xD

PCB is ref mate and it can only be the looks of the cooler because it is pretty quiet

From what I saw from the video, the part that sticks out on the side of the card looks horribad from the top, its like an empty hole that will constantly be in your face if your case is on your desk.

Oh right, it said in the conclusion

"Palit have also designed their own PCBs for the 780ti" and "If you want to push the card even further, then Palit’s custom PCB should aid in maximizing overclocking ability"

Is that for future cards or something?

Ill clarify for the main review fella

Yeah there are a few things that make this seem like its not reference. The first is that it has 2x 8pins, could still use a reference PCB though, the 2nd is that EK are listing that the 780 JetStream water block (because a reference block wont fit) will also fit the 780Ti Jetstream. Makes me think those sneaky capacitors towards the back of the card are in a single line instead of having that 1 that's slightly off capacitor that has been throwing a spanner in the works. Looking forward to some clarification on this.
Also with dual 8pins I wonder if the power target can be set higher than 106% because that would be awesome!
