P55 or P45?

right guys got a big dilema going on!

i either have the choice on waiting for the p55 chipset and cpu's too come out which is probally this month because i have found some p55 boards listed on some random german site

i could either go the p45 route which is

Asus gene motherboard £129

q9550 £125

total: £254

or p55

MSI-GD65 £118

and a 2.66ghz lynfield when it arrives : around £150-180

2x2GB corsair 1600mhz ram £50

and another case too fit a standard atx board £80-100

total: £413

if i go down the p55 route i will probs be missing a trip too alton towers so i dont know what too do HELP ME!!!

No-one is going to be able to answer this a the people who know the performance of the LGA1156 chips are under NDA...

Performance will be close, P55 will probably be slightly ahead. But like Ham said, no one can or is allowed to say for sure.
