i recently overclocked my graphics card (yet again) and was just wondering, at what temperature should the card be kept? i mean i know it shouldn't overheat but i don't really know much other than that.

What card do you have there my friend? Also, just wondering .. air cooling or WC?

well prepare to laugh but i have a 256 mb nvidia 6200 PCI graphics card and it's an air cooled setup seeing as how the rig is not only old and cheap but i also lack the funds to do any cooling upgrades. but since i play graphically intense games like F.E.A.R. (considering my computer's turning 4 years old) i know it must push that card pretty far even with the overclocking i've done (so far the core clock is changed from 285 mhz to 375 and the memory was cranked up from 400 to 875) as for the temperature my nvidia manager registers a range of high 30's to mid 40's (celsius). i haven't tried checking while in-game but i'd imagine it's at least 10 degrees higher. in case anything else is a factor though here's the specs of my rig (keep in mind i'm a gamer on a dirt poor budget for now, lol)

dell dimension 2400

northwood 10 socket 478 motherboard

2.4 ghz celeron processor (333 mhz FSB)

512 mb pc2700 DDR SDRAM

350-400 watt power supply (can't remember for sure)
