Overclocking my i5 3570k.

Been following the TTL OC guide on Youtube, that he uploaded the other day, and he said first start with to find the lowest voltage you can to start, does this mean, start up? Or torture test? Also, when opening up CPU-Z it only says my Core Voltage, is at 1.032 and hits 1.088V(Max) , that's on HardWare Monitor, I'm a bit confused, as my VCore on Bios is 1.1V, but on HWM/CPU-Z, it's only running at 1.032V, at this moment, while doing a stress test...Really confused?

Follow the guide. also post in the overclock thread .

Youve not followed everything Ive said so you have got the problems you have.

It would mean torture test proof ie the lowest voltage needed for a stable stock clock.

As for the cpu-z and voltages I am not the best one to advise you here but I think this is due to Vdroop. The voltage will drop slightly when the cpu is under full load.

Did you put the load line calibration to high or extreme? If not then try high to see if that helps.

As for the voltage when not under load maybe you left one of the power saving settings on which allows the cpu to lower voltage accordingly when on idle. Kinda like what speed step does to the core clock at idle when turned on.

Alrite, i'll have another look at the BIOS, it seems a little confusing compared to the gigabyte , i have an Asrock Extreme4 Z77 board..
