Overclocking Intel Core i5 3570

Hi Guys

Need the way forward as to over clock my CPU as in my Sig what settings do I need to adjust?

Bump the multiplier to 45 and the voltage to 1.25 to start and then move the voltage down until it is unstable

When I go into the AI Tweaker For some reason I can't find the multiplier am I missing something here? All I can see is the BLCK Frequency?

look for ratio sync in the Ai tweak BIOS setting and make sure it is enabled,

Then underneath put 45 and press enter

+You can't learn this in a matter of minutes/hours. Takes yrs to take it into practice, know exactly what to do and make it work...
There are lots of guides on google already! Google it and you will find what you're looking for!

Really? From what I have seen it takes seconds to learn how to overclock with ivy :L

I dare you to take an Ivy to it's highest clock at 1.25v, see if it's 24/7 stable, isn't overheating (CPU/MOBO/RAM) in idle or load AND isn't loud in idle or load! I give you 10s!

No no just joking. Yes you're right, you can clock it in half a minute, but make it optimal for 24/7 at a normal voltage. I hate those who take them over 1.4v and keep it for 24/7, it's useless...

Nothing is easy for a complete beginner thats why we need to teach them properly at the start. That way they can help the next badges of beginners and not just keep coming back to there forum everytime there is a minor problem.

Teaching is the long way, but it helps people more in the long run. If people just want quick answers and then disapeer again then they are the people I personally would rather not help.

Don't ask basic questions, ask only if you run into a problem that noone had it before and the internet doesn't know about it! There are lots of guides already out there! Search and read them through!

Check ma sig, I hope it gives you some tips although I did the thread on an MSI mobo so you'll have to look around for where your settings are.
