So as the title says, I need some help OCing my i5-760. Ok, so my settings are below in the picture. My problem is that whenever I run prime95 for about 5 minutes my core clock drops down to 1.8Ghz instead of staying at 4.00GHz. Can anyone help me ? I'm an OC noob :/

EDIT - **I SHOULD ALSO SAY THAT IT IS THE MULTIPLIER THAT IS DROPPING DOWN TO 9 **

This won't help with your question, just going to check mine in a min.
Firstly lower your cpu volts, shouldn't need 1.5V for 4000Mhz
(using an i5-760 myself, 4.00 @1.25V)

Ok, I'll lower it to 1.3v ? What motherboard are you using ? I don't think mine's is oc friendly as its an entry level board.

i am using an Asus p7p55d-e pro. pretty sure the lx was the model below the pro. so shouldn't be very different really.

Im running an i5-750 at 4 ghz on 1.39v (asus maximus formula III) so really shouldnt need more than 1.4v. Try upping the IMC voltage too.
