The new look site is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of our plans for this year, the next step is for us to start looking for some new blood to join our team. If you are a avid gamer, hardware nutter or budding journalist this take a look at the video and see if you could be who we are looking for!

Just a reminder of the details we need:

hireme@overclock3d.net

Name

Age

Location

System specs

why should we hire you

attach a copy of a test review, good writing style and good photos are very important.

If you think you fit the bill then I look forward to hearing from you

I'd love to get involved with it again but my time at the moment is all over the place.

Same reason I had to give up writing news here really.

Hope you find some good tallented guys though mate :)

Like i said on the vids comments ima pass this on to a few of my friends (1 has done a journalism course 1 is doing one atm) and write one up myself, hopefuly it'l come out better than my fail mouse mat review :(, as games are pretty much 2nd nature to me it should be alot easyer, if im not happy with it i wont bother submitting it tbh but its worth me trying to see what i can come up with anyway.

Just to let you guys know, if you want to be a gaming reviewer, the NDA requires you to be over the age of 18, if you're under the age of 18 a parent/guardian signature will be required.

I know because i'm under a NDA because I work in QA, I would be interested in the gaming reviewer, but I play games for a job already :p

would love to take the chance on hardware or even news feedsource. As i am superb dedicate to that 24/7 :) well at least is what my gf complains that i only study about computers all day long reading reviews and news about tech

Shame its that i live in brazil now and cant get in :(

Yeah it seems like a dream job, but I can see reviewing games getting extremely tedious, and with deadlines it leave very little room for actual fun to be had. But like anything I know that there are people that are passionate about games and hardware that will step up to the plate.

haha imgaine me being a game reviewer hahaha.

Yeh here we go with the new BF 200000 .. erm what can i say i let my dauhter have a go and lol ........

this is something i really wait to do, i have the time and the passion. if i am chosen to make video game reviews i will put everything i got into it

It is reviews about 'video games' but it does not involve any YouTube work initialy, just written website based reviews.

As much as I would love to, and I think I would be very good, I really don't have the time to. And I don't think my setup would allow for testing of many parts as it's so damn temperamental. I might give it a shot though...

If you really don't have time then tbh you should give it a miss. It requires a lot of time and dedication and if you can't commit, then you should really not apply :)

I would really love to do this too, I have a passion for PC hardware and gaming, but as a full-time student on a very demanding degree, I don't have the time to do it justice. Don't be surprised if you hear from me in a year and a bit once I've graduated though, I should have more real free time to commit something good if it's still needed.

if i got an idea of the time involved i would submit an entry?

any of the review team want to tell me how much they spent maybe doing a single graphics card review?
