first things first, never overclocked before....

Now with that out of the way, i have a P4 2.8 (Northwood core) running on a P4VM800 motherboard.

Havent got much time now to give you anymore info, but from that little above, can anyone tell me if there is a chance of a slight overclock??

I'll provide more info when i get home tonight.

ta muchy!

You'll be fine mate, although it is using a VIA chipset. That ASRock was a popular little mobo in its time.

I took a quick look at the manual, and the bios has an adjustment for the frequency so I would expect you could increase the FSB by at least 10-20 Mhz.

Thats the same mobo i have in my cellery rig mate. It got the 2.6 northy up to 3ghz no problem.

Just keep a eye on your temps.

well, i'm running at 147 at the mo, cannot go any higher, i need to up the voltage, but i dont think the board will let me, any ideas what other name it could come under?

i can only find dram voltage, guessing thats RAM and AGP voltage.
