overclock question?

i just realized my Video cards memory is 16MB which is preety bad

so i was wonderin if i could overclock it cuz i want its memory up to 32 MB thats about it

specs are as follows

and yes it was already installed when i bought my computer which limits my chances lol

Hi Mate,

Overclocking your card will not increase the physical memory on the card. However, by using a utility such as PowerStrip you should be able to increase the core/memory speed a bit which should give youa bit of a performance boost.

I would recommend looking into upgrading the card at some point if you can. Even to something like an ATI 9700 Pro (available on eBay for about £35ish)

hmm i plan to get a 128 card for about 120bux canadian could u tell me if any card will just do that says 128mb on it or do i need a certin kinda like it u need certin kind of memory for ram

Well, from the Info u gave about ur current card, you will be needing another AGP card.

wow thank you so much mate and one last question if i dont have an open pci port (i just leanred that word i am guessing it means a slot to put the card into ) can i just remove my old video card n put the newone in there ONCE AGAIN THANKS ALOT!!!!! FOR YOUR HELP

Yep, Your card will be sitting in an AGP port. There will be only one of these on your machine, so you will just need to take your current card out, and put your new card in
