Over Moderation On Forums Getting Too Much

I see nothing here offensive to anyone especially to me, I will fight for everyone's right to express an opinion no matter whether I agree or disagree with it. I just didn't like being called a fella and thought that was presumptuous and possibly sexist of the person.
As I said, I have no hard feelings to anyone and there is no reason they should resent my personal opinion when I state it.
Anyways this is a 'rants' topic isn't it? Let's all rant and be merry!

How was SuB to know that you're a woman ? He's not a mind reader and not a sexist as you state, For one to be a sexist one must know the sex of said person and in this situation he did not.

Most people that are on here are men and as has been previously stated it was just an innocent assumption.

"Fella" in Europe, Which by the way is where this forum is based i.e not America, Can also be used like "Guys" in America which can mean both male and female, So relax, No one is being sexist here.

I guess you missed the 'no hard feelings' part. As you see I am relaxed to the max dude.

I didn't miss it at all, I'm just saying or rather clarifying for future reference that most of the members here are from the EU so expect certain words to make you go "WTF did he/she say ???" ^_^

I don't know if it is but it said above that fella can be used for female as well? :S Chances are SuB will know this from the sexy ladies thread when we found out you were female. I dunno. :)

@topic: in other forums we all would have been banned, just happend to me yesterday that I gained a ban because I was only posting in the off topic thread for a long time and I got banned with the reason: Not being active in the forum the RIGHT way...

That kind of makes the off topic section of that forum redundant. You can't force people to use parts of a forum they don't feel like contributing to.

there were daily 30+ threads of some random asking if that and that part goes together or if that setup is any good etc, stuff I could but I wont answer since it gets annoying..

Yeah. They could quite easily find an answer if they bothered to search before asking. It would be faster and wouldn't clutter the forum with the same questions.

Literally the furthest thing from the truth that could be written about the subject of me, and being sexist. As Shaun, and Dice will no doubt attest, I'm a fucking pain in the arse for trying to keep the forums 'fair to women' especially their sexy ladies thread, as much as they hate me for it... some of us have to see the bigger picture.

I don't appreciate being called sexist when you don't understand the language of the country who's forum you've come storming into... and clearly don't know me, my ideals or what I stand for.

I actually had no idea, I only check your fap thread occasionally lol the name "big blue" doesn't exactly lend itself to "oh hey I'm a girl" either...

At least your honest you had no idea then. Ah well, I wouldn't worry about being called fella. Simple mistake to make, I did the same in the sexy ladies thread.

I ignore those types of threads for the most part. They could just search the forums, their question has probably been asked before in the past few days.
At the fella who said people could think we are sexist for using the word fella before checking the gender of the addressed person, i don't give a fuck whether they feel offended or not, those people will always find a way to call you some sort of oppressor. State your gender and preferred pronoun if you care about the way you are addressed.

Seems very odd behavior to ban someone for that, Using the forum in the RIGHT way is just using the forum to interact with your fellow members, Ask questions, Answer questions, General chit chat.

By that same logic everyone on every forum on the interwebz should be banned if they post in an off topic section more than a few times.

Totally confooziz me

Indeed, It really is police state/dictatorship behavior, Quite worrying.
