Windows 10 adoption rate is slowing down globablly, but doesn't seem to effect the Gaming/Steam community as much. Which is understandable since in most cases PC Gamers are more inclined to move to the newest OS before the general consumer.

What do you define as the general consumer?..If you were to buy an bog standard build PC they would come with Windows 10 surely?.I know companies will keep on Windows 7 for the obvious security reasons.

Especially with some misunderstanding dx12.

General consumer would be the average consumer. Not someone who is as technically inclined as say we are. You know that one person that's always nagging about there computer not working when it's just them and you have to correct them multiple times? Yeah.. that person.

Plenty of people understand DX12. Just most gamers don't. It's the devs that do.

Some of my family hasn't switched to W10 because they're afraid that they're going to ruin their PC, so the only way they'd move on is if I took the time to upgrade for them, or if they bought an entire new PC ^_^
