OS copy and programms

Hi everyone, I am going to buy a new ssd and i wonder if there is a way of copying the os and programms from the old drive to the new or make the pc read the installation path to the old drive without the need of reinstalling the programms. For example if i want to run skype which used to be in C:/ProgramFiles/skype to go to D:/ProgramFiles/skype without the need of reinstalling the program because know the drive C is going to be the ssd

Acronic True Image will do that for you.

Never used it myself, but I got a few copies free with SSDs I bought.

There are also some linux based hdd cloners just google for it.

Windows has its own thing built in to make an image of its self.

Images yes, but to copy everything you need other tools.

no it images the system in its current stage.

Yes but the Bootmanager Bios etc are not includet in that, just the MFT listed files.
