Opty and dividers?!?!?!

I recently switched out my G.Skill HZs for Frag's Ballistix Tracers and have since been able to prime over 100mhz higher at .2vCore less. Has anyone ever seen a cpu that doesn't like dividers? The tracers are running 1:1 where as the hzs were running on a 180 divider. I'm not complaining in the least but it just seems wierd.

I was prime stable at 290x10 1.54vcore now im at 30 mins priming 302x10 1.52vcore Gonna bump it up a lil more soon. I know the max stable on the mem is 306 so hopefully I can get the cpu up that high.

glad those tracers are workin out for ya! I ran em at 310x10 to get my 3.1ghz suicide cpu-z verification on my 180.

Ya, apparantly the Opty memory controller isn't so hot and has trouble maintaining dividers a bit. Very nice though

Wow....I decided to drop the vCore down to 1.470(lowest I could boot into windows today) and prime at 290x10 overnight while I slept and to be honest I didn't expect it to last long seeing as I couldn't even boot into windows at anything less than 1.5vcore a week ago. It ran all night for over 9 hrs This thing really does like 1:1.
