Opteron 180 2.9ghz 10 hour Prime Stable!

Started up Prime95 again before I headed to sleep last night just to verify my stable OC... Everything definately looks in place here Woke up 10 hours later and she's still kickin. Not to mention the uber low temps she's at running 1.67vcore. It's freezing ass cold in my room which definately helps, but that IHS was just fucking me hard in the temp department.

lol, i would if i weren't already nearing the 1.7vcore area. I'll play in the 3+ghz zone as soon as my new cooling unit comes in

Its definately worth it Kemp... I'd say go for it now, just take your time and use caution.

I can't do it right now as the XP-120 won't work without an IHS on the proc

I'll get w/c in the summer and do it then (too poor after Xmas pressies)
