Opteron 144 Overclocking

Hey guys. Since i had nothing to do today, I decided on overclocking my Opteron 144 today.

The stepping:

As you can see, stepping is CABYE 0536GPMW Batch no: 0001

This is the result so far:

2.7ghz @ stock volts

2.8ghz @ 1.45v

2.9ghz @ 1.55v

3.0ghz @ Going to try now:

Very pleased with the cpu

Oh yeh, Ignore the Nforce 3 250GB bit in Smartguardian. Editing is still not finished.

Supposed to say Dfi Ultra-d

that 2.9 shot is with 1.55vcore mate, cpu-z under volts... check yer bios for real readings...[edit: or look at S.G ].

oops, sorry, Its 1.55v, even in bios. So cpu-z isn't undervolting

Temps are 35-38idle and 45-50 load. Looks like a bad IHS contact

iv got same stepping as you, but on a 148. Had it 3.3 wit my mach, was bad contact (kit broke, also kinda broke the evap) Getting it converted now, will tell you how it goes...

I may be selling this opteron soon if i can find myself a good opteron 146 or 148. I know someone in us selling one, if i get that sorted then this'll be up for sale
