Opinion?

Cheers frag. I think im going to get one of these as soon as i can afford it. Ive read the 3500 can reach 2.6Ghz on good air and stock voltage. So 2.4/5ish should be reasonable using this cooler too right?

Do you have a tight budget to stick too? Because if you're just looking for a good aircooler then there are quite a few that blow that one out of the water, but it has a nice price tag.

Yeah ima student:D. Meaning poor. I'd be ok if i dnt have car tax due in march. £160 worth of money down the drain:mad: . What is better then? bearing in mind my case isn't huge...

Agreed if you save for that little bit longer a Thermalright XP-120 + SilenX 14dba (74cfm) fan would be far superior and more than likely much quieter :)

Thats looking upwards of £50 kempz:eek:, I can afford that. Most i can manage is £35 at the moment.

Hmm thats more in my price range. That the best there is for the price? I liked the look of some of the big zalman ones, but ive read they arn't as good.

That XP-90c looks great, can i use a cheapo crapy fan with it untill i can afford a better one? Where exactly do you put the fan in on it?

Yep the fan sits on the top of it.

Here's the thermalright page: Clicky Check the installtion instructions :)

Any fan will do (92mm) but I would get one thats as quiet as possible, with the highest CFM :)

To me: Zalman is all flash. Thats an ok cooler to be sure but check the amount of boards it can go on and you'll be shocked. Certainly could never get one for any of my NF-7 boards. Thermalright make solid, deendable coolers without all the flash. The work and do the job well :)
