If your American this could be a problem for you. DEMAND A REPLACEMENT

He says "you don't have to worry". He didn't mention getting a replacement when the new fixed boards are on sale

My title is sarcasm, this deal isn't fixing the problem properly and creates the problem of having 1 less PCI slot spare etc

Nice of them to offer a free SATA card but that doesn't change the fact the SATA ports on the motherboard are faulty and that people want them fixed or the motherboard replaced instead of ;

"oh don't worry just use a PCI SATA controller." LMAO

I don't know about anyone else but I intend to sell my motherboard on when I upgrade and I can't do that unless the SATA ports are fixed.

somehow I dont think this is the best overall solution to the problem looks like Tiger is givin ya a bandage to fix it til the real fix is implemented. I bet they lose alot of money doing it this way as well as customers. Shame on them for not playing right. Prolly why I have never bought from them ever..

ye. going by experience with retailers customer support they'll try to sell the fixed p67 boards to p67 owners that want a different board

at least theyre trying to help while the new fixed boards are released...are those sata card pcix x1? or what?

you had your mobo replaced cause of the b2 steppin p67 problems? i thot the new b3 wasnt gonna be around till april?

I haven't had it replaced yet I just sent the place I got it from an email to see if I had to RMA it through them or if I had to deal with Asus directly. They sent me a email back saying that Asus will replace my motherboard when the new ones are available. At the moment i'm keeping my eye out for any news from Asus about how to go about getting it replaced all the information available at the moment is this
