One Billion Yahoo users affected by 2013 hack

Yahoo has announced that over one Billion user accounts have been affected by a hack which dates back to 2013, with phone numbers, emails and passwords being stolen.

I changed my password immediately after Yahoo sent out a mass warning. I'll probably end up doing so again just for my peace of mind

Well I hope they tell me what my password and user name was. Haven't used Yahoo since the 90s I think!

Definitely worth changing it if you have an account. Especially if you have similar user names and passwords for different sites.

Always good to have an account for marketing rubbish and things that you have to sign up for that really shouldn't require an email account. Agree though and it's concerning it took them so long to work it out!

be sure to change your security questions/answers too otherwise the password change is pointless. Since that information was taken too
