Interesting that even now - if you have a phase cooled FX55 with watercooled 7800GTX SLI or watercooled FX60 and two watercooled 7900GTX's you can still run quicker than (okay a single) 8800GTX and X6800
The Inquirer results show that with a Conroe at 2.93ghz and a single 8800GTX - the scores are still slower than the SLI scores of this time last year.
Of course we still want SLI G80's and 4.5ghz core2 cpu's I think it's comforting to think that there is still life in the kit we had last year, not for records but certainly for hi-res gaming.
