Anyone any thoughts on these or got one and have an opinion as i just ordered one and it seems a bit of a mixed bag . Seems good to me as i'll get ssd performance without trying to fit everything on a small ssd and no need to reinstall but i have no exp with ssd's yet

When you install the SSD, just make sure that you have the operation mode of the SSD set to AHCI in the BIOS and you should be good to go. You could also update the drive with the latest firmware once you have it setup in your machine.

Thanks , yeah thats my plan , my controllers are already ahci and i was gonna check / flash the drive before i install the dataplex software .

they are fine but sort out your overclocking and stuff before you install dataplex because if you install dataplex and get a BSOD then it takes a while to recover

I am going to buy the 64gb as well coz ssd's are too expensive, i would need 256gb ssd as my boot drive coz I have loads of installed progs on my 200gb boot partition, the other 800gb is for my game installs, media etc, and don't care about game load times (more worried about graphics and fps) but program response/load times is why i want an ssd, I will definitely get this end of march

Update - drives been installed for ~ 2 weeks now and it does its job well , boot and load times for common used apps have gone down loads and machine feels much more snappy , for me this is better than regular ssd as i dont have to manage whats on it
