OCZ ModXStream 600 w/ NZXT 810 Switch

Hello,

Since I am on a budget and haven't the money to upgrade my power supply. Does anyone know if I would run into any problems with the OCZ ModXStream Power Supply? (Sorry TinyTomLogan for not buying the Corsair Power Supply yet :mellow: ) I know the cords are rather short and many people have commented in the reviews that they've had difficulties fitting them into larger cases.

Has anyone came across problems with this Power Supply inside a NZXT 810 Switch? NCIX offers extension cables from NCZT for $14.99 CAD

- NZXT Premium Individually Sleeved Computer Cables 6PIN 450MM
- NZXT Premium Individually Sleeved Computer Cables 8PIN 450MM
- NZXT Premium Individually Sleeved Computer Cables 24PIN
- Bitfenix Alchemy Premium Sleeved 4PIN Male Molex to 4X SATA Power Cable Black 20CM

Thanks =)

You may run into problems with the terrible OCZ psu failing as they're very unreliable?
Do you already have the psu?

If you do, then the extensions will work fine if cables arent long enough. I'd recommend the Bitfenix over the NZXT ones, just because I think the braiding on them is awesome :)

I already have the Power Supply. It was the first part I purchased for my system until I talked with TinyTomLogan about the terrible components they use. I'll likely get NZXT Hale90.

I'm looking for length versus appearance in this case. If the Bitfenix are longer I'll buy them over NZXT.

You need to test it and see if it will fit first.

Length over appearance? You dont want to get the longest possible cables cause you wont need that much and it'll just get in the way and be a cabling nightmare
