OCZ Launch 'P45 Special' 8GB & 16Gb Mem Kits

Just P45?

The previously released 16GB kit from G.Skill seems less fussy about the chipset it can run on.

I wonder if this OCZ is truely limited to P45, or is the name a marketing thing a bit like "vista gold" etc?

If not, then it'd be nice if a generic 16GB kit was also made available from OCZ.

No its 3gig period. Im running 3gig dual channel ;) But why are they still playing with DDR2? And slow DDR2 at that.

Win 32 can address 4GB, period. Only shows about 3.something GB but it can address 4gb with PAE

I was disputing your dual channel comment. Its possible to run 3gig dual channel.

I'm aware of that, I meant in one dual channel kit. You don't have to dispute everything anyone says, ya know

I can only see the point of 16GB ram if you were using about 10GB for a ram disk (you would need to keep some power to it 24/7 though) Wow, Vista might boot moderately quickly with that!
