Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's made my first few days here so damn enjoyable.

So many forums dedicated to hardware enthusiasts seem to exist solely to belittle people who don't understand something, brag loudly about how hilariously expensive their systems are, or generally act in a cliquey and superior manner. This prejudice is partly why I've been coming to the site for about a year without ever putting my nose in the forum.

However, you've all destroyed that viewpoint and made it an absolute joy to be here. No matter how large or small your PC, how clever or not you are, and even how dusty your rig is, matters not.

To all of you. Thank you. If only more forums were like this :worship::worship:

I agree to a certain extent with you VonBlade, but I have also come across a number of small communities who similarly embrace all user's regardless of their knowledge and system(s).

I was "part" of another forum early in my pc "knowledge" life. Being a noob (shamelessly) I was asking questions..as you do and then basically being flamed. it was full of people contridicting eachother in the non nice way (if there is a nice way), bragging about..anything and basically wasnt fun

OC3D has basically always been friendly even with the evil admins looming above

One great reason to be here I say. On most other forums you'll rarely see the admins posting or just being one of the "community". I seriously thought you guys were just your normal chatty users when I first joined up

I'm always a bit nervous when joining forums at first like if you say something wrong bam you get flamed to hell, but OC3D is one of if not THE most friendlest forum ever . This was my first computer forum (to learn how to overclock my amd 4000+) then it made me buy a brand new system xD, learnt how to watercool and everything. Now i'm known as the geek of the household

Cheers for the kind words VonBlade. As Kemp has mentioned, right from day one (back before we was even called OC3D) we always wanted the community to be fun and friendly with none of the 'almighty admin' crap you see on other forums.

By doing this it would seem that we have attracted a lot of really great people who just get along and have respect for each other no matter what background they come from or what PC specs they have.

In a way, the forum 'admins' itself a lot of the time. Trouble makers get ignored and soon get bored/move on and everyone else is welcomed in and becomes part of the community.
