I made my first two wallpapers using Cinema4D.
The first one I accidentaly rendered at a low resolution, but I'll upload it anyway:
My second one (1920x1080) does look quite a bit better

EDIT: I've been playing around with the global illumination, and this is the result (1024x768. It was a pita to render on my PC):

have a go with these settings.. my daughter wanted me to make her the nickelodeon logo for her so i had a go in cin4d which i think is what they use to animate it on the channel..
anyways you will need this font

and here is the file.. the settings and materials work well for text + its motext so you can change the font or what it says to anything...

you forgot two things in the shot to make it more real
the camera (and it's settings: ISO/WB/shutter speed/etc)
and the perspective

Thats bang out of order dug, I wont stand for this on my forums.
You may have some good technical knowlege but that doesnt give you the right to start chucking comments like that around.

I appreciate Tom looking out for me, you all have to bear in mind im 15 and im rendering with a 775 P4 with 2GB of ram. I didnt really put much effort into the 2nd Nickelodeon as it was just a joke. Dont get me wrong, appreciate constructive criticism. I hope everything is resolved now and everybody can get back to making lovely wallpapers.
