OC3D Review ThermoLab Trinity Heat Sink Review

that's what i'm hoping for, either way it's not exactly a good idea to use non standard fans, because a lot of people who pay more than 30€ on a heatsink want to choose their own favourite fan.

True. How much did you pay for it by the way?

i'll write a review about it for a german site, so i got it for free

Oh, cool.

Are they selling them over there yet?

Oh right, thanks anyway

I was just wondering what price they decided to sell them at, like Tom said in the vid if it's for £35 then they are a bargain but if it's for £40 they are still good but there are other good coolers in that price range.

I don't think that's the big selling point with this cooler, and its one I missed at first too. its how well it cools at such a low noise level for its cost, yes you can get another Heatsink for the same price that might cool better but it will sound like a hairdrier in you case.

if you want great cooling in a quiet pc these are very well priced even at 40 quid really.

still don't get the point of making a fan specific for ;one cooler but other than that, it should be selling like sausages

tom this is just a suggestion, you could have a second test rig with a AMD cup in it so we can see how the cooler does on it, I know it's alot of work for you but having only tests on the x58 kind off limits the review to only the x58 owners and excludes a lot of people, for example I build a lot of AMD rigs for my mates and the performance of this coolers interests me for future purchases so maybe this rings a bell...... best regards to all OC3D TEAM

Sadly dude its not going to happen, just too much work for a heatsink. We use X58 as its the hottest of the current proc. So basically if it does well on this it will do well on anything that creates less heat
