Nice review :) That looks really really nice, I reckon it might be worth getting one of them myself rather than spending maybe half as much trying to sort out the mounting on my scythe. Good to see a decent mounting mechanism with no stupid pushy pins.

How do you reckon it would fair on top of a quad?

Nice one, Cheers!

Says in the conclusion, between £45 and £50 ish, will add to the review when prices are confirmed by retailers

looks like a fine heatsink

good review btw

i think, if a company did 6 heatpipes, and put 3 coming up on one side, and 3 on the other, it might help with keeping temps down more....

but then it would be more difficult to mount on motherboards with more stuff on them...

but ah well...

Well for the size and design of it, it's a fantastic cooler. The only thing in my eyes that stops it from being a great cooler for all applications is the price. Youre paying for the performance to size ratio.

Great review mate. Very nice looking cooler.

@usman, Noctua said that the cooler should roughly be $50..so pretty much 1:1 with the UK price.

A heatsink with that design just can't be optimized, which seems to show :p. Good for lan parties I suppose

When will Noctua finally drop their colors and paint their products black...

The noctuas on my external watercooler look so ugly :)

Yet, you can't hear them at all.
