OC3D Review: Cooler Master HAF 922

Nice review Tom, like the comparisons you make to other cases guess it will help people compare and figure out which is best for them.

:)

The 932 had 15mm spacings and the 922 is meant to be water compatable, a 5mm change in the roof could have made such a big difference. Just seems like a silly oversight.

Great case

I recently got one of these and I'm really happy with it.

I didn't want to spend this sort of money on a case, but none of the cheaper ones are long enough to take my GTX 285 without significant interference to the drive bays.

I initially bought the Coolermaster Storm Scout which was a bit cheaper and is sold as a "gaming" case, after seeing various reviews, including a video one, which rated it highly.

It's a great case and I like the styling. However, while it took my graphics card without interference, I literally had to insert it at an angle and then turn it straight. There was then only about a millimeter between the end of the card and the drive bays. Any longer and the next card I buy may not fit at all.

All they had to do was make it longer by an inch to solve this problem. Not good enough for a higher-end gaming case, in my opinion. Hence, I bought the HAF 922 specifically to solve this problem, which it does admirably and is of equally high quality.
