OC3D Review: Asus EN8800GTX

Another awesome and thorough review as we've come to expect Matt. The extras left a little to be desired, but I usually don't buy a card based on the additional content anyway. Total class review, well done...extremely informative and impartial :) :worship:

Good work kemp, best and most informative review i have seen on pretty much any graphics card on any review site

Dunno if you might list a con for it being insanely long and requiring 2 x PCI-E connectors? This card is fab though, I'm still trying to sort yours out, they havent shipped it yet which is

ing me off.

Did anyone else notice the little buzzer on the back of the card? It looks similar to the ones found on some motherboards. Maybe it is to signal a fan failure, as it is pretty close to the fan connector.

Hmm possibly Nag,

As for the review, Kemp congrats on another wonderful review. Big thanks to Asus, and congrats to OC3D.

Hmm yeah Frag maybe I will note that :)

Didn't notice that Naguru, even though the card is in my hands! Good spot.

Thanks lads, hope it was informative and interesting :)

I think thats for when you turn on the PC without enough power going into the card. My 6800 made a hell of a noise when i forgot to plug in the power cable

I just know that it wouldn't fit in my case, which is a con for me, and that it also requires a ton of power and may cause people to have to upgrade PSU's.

It sure is, and yes they do. My 6800GT has one on the backend too
