OC3D Review: Asus 9800 GX2 1GB (EN9800GX2)

I actually had a dream about the gx2 last night! I was also doing a dice run but I overfilled the pot and it leaked out onto my mobo...

I'm on the verge of buying one of these gx2's - anyone know when the G100 or true next gen is due?

Well, my X2 is artifacting. Again.

I've contacted where I bought it from stating rather than replace this 3870X2 with a third X2, I'd rather have a refund or pay the diff (£130ish) and get the gx2... Hopefully I'll have this sorted mid/end of this week!

Thats crappy. I changed my mind (yet again) and canceled my order of the GX2. I'm sticking with two pelt cooled 8800GTS for the moment as I remembered I'd ordered a load of memory sinks for them last week :s

I'd sli the new gtx's and oc the turd out of them IF i had a 790i as the price diff isn't much and they do oc well...

As I don't have a 790i the gx2 is the best i can get for now. This has been my only experience with ati and it hasn't been great. I'll give them a go again in the future but i'll be glad to return to a solid nvidia card!
 
the gtx's are quite expensive. it has virtually the same performance as the gx2 but a bit more memory bandwidth. the gx2 give more bang for ur buck and besides quad sli rocks!!!!

Neither thanks I've got an 8800 GTX and I really see no point in upgrading to either

I had a 8800 GTX now i got a 9800 GX2 and im soo happy :D alot happier then i was with my 8800 gtx
