OC3D Review: Asus 9800 GX2 1GB (EN9800GX2)

Good performance for a single card, but way 2 expensive atm. Great review as always Kempez.

The demonstrably cheaper link does work for me on the last page.

Super effort as always Kemp. Although I would have liked to have seen an 3870 X2 included as a comparison instead of the 3850.

Thanks mate, fixed :)

PV - so would I, check the test page for why it wasn't
Ah yes my bad. I did look at all the pic pages and then skipped to the benchmarks. Tis a pity the X2 didn't behave

Unfortunately, playing with High settings just wasn't playable at all, with a lot of very visible lag.

Should be "very high" as far as i can see :D

Card is looking good. Hopefully nvidia can get some better drivers out soon!

Decent review. The gx2 handles most things well, not sure if i am sold though... They can be had for £350.

Oh, page 7 looks like you missed out 'Very' in the second sentance :)

The 9800 GX2 played Crysis very well with High settings at 1920 x 1200, with acceptable framerate. Unfortunately, playing with [insert Very here] High settings just wasn't playable at all, with a lot of very visible lag.

Beaten by Hatman lol

hehehe :worship:

mmmmm skulltrail + quad sli :o

Not really something anyone should seriously consider buying, but all to their own. Can see some records being broken with that.

I've seen quad sli results, the synthetics don't benefit much but gaming scales well.

Crysis playable maxed out!

Pity it blows heat into the case.

A vapour chamber cooler would be very nice - much more efficient - don't know why these haven't been taken up en masse - saphire used one on a 3870.

Looks fantastic, sounds pretty good and runs pretty well. Is this the car on Tox's next buy list? :p

Nice review Kemp!
