OC3D meetup at i53

I probably should start by saying this isn't an official thing organised by OC3D. Rather its more of a casual thing for members by members.

So its on the 21-24th of November. If I can get the time off my work I'll be going for atleast two days. As its so far in advance this gives us plenty of time to work something out.

Info to come as we discuss it. It'd be great to meet some of your grubby faces :).
 
Do you mean just attend or take rigs and all sit together like a bunch of badasses, I don't really know how insomnia works tbh as i've not been yet but i'd be very excited to attend as part of a community rather than a lonely rig stalker.

We'll see. I imagine it'll be a mix as some of us could be involved in matches etc. I know I might be involved in the TF2 competition if I actually start playing properly again.

Ahh okay hopefully I will have a better idea of what goes down after i've visited i52, I know that one of my old school friends attends with a rig, no idea what he plays. If your involved in a tournament do you have to go to a different hall/place? You can just like attend with a rig and muck about rather than actually engaging in tournaments can't you?

I'd want to go just to experience the spectacle, NI has nothing like that.

If I have the time and funds to go I will, it would be great to meet a few of you guys too.

Ha ha everyone has seen mine, but would be epic to meet people in person. I've stuck a note on the calendar. Fingers crossed I can get this time and life stuff stays out of my way.

It's not as bad as you may think, I actually quite enjoyed it.. once you get past the "I'm talking to this camera on my own" feeling. It wouldn't have been that bad if I'd done it Rushkit style as it'd just been a voice over. Not only that it had to be done in 1 take so mistakes and everything included.

True, I hate showing my face though tbh. What with being a 19 year old and all.


Anyway, looks like I can go to i53.
-edit- If I'm done with all the admin for all the new students joining.

I'd like to go, don't know if I can get there easy though, it was quite a way going to the Bermingham NEC last year for work.

Yeah, sadly I'm not a Turkish Politician/Cat combo IRL. Sorry :(
