How is that slower than only 51% of gb where as my 9mb's connection is slower than 71% ? :L Does it compare all connections with that isp or something?

it takes into account upload, download & ping speeds.
i think it also takes into account the results polled on that particular server

very nice thats about 8000k (8Mb/s) download and 1750k (1.75Mb/s) upload on throughput.

just waiting on vm for the rumoured beta of 200/30,
personally i'd rather have 120/50 as was meant to be originally but either way its all groovy

retested my connection, appears that avira antivirus was causing the previous erronious results.

but am quite happy as virgin have finished the double speed upgrades in my area and as a result.

as we all know though, fast speeds are nothing without continuity so have attached the pingtest results

8mb has been doing me well - there's seldom a time that I don't get host on xbox anymore, so that's nice.
And your download shall still dwarf me, so there's no issue there

Yeah, if ever i'm playing multiplayer with my friend, i make sure I host. No way shall I have his 0.88mb upload inflicted upon me.

Plusnet gave me a free upgrade to 80/20 last week - connection has slowly been getting faster was 10MB/s when i first got it now it is:
