Exactly. There's always somewhere you can read regurgitated manufacturer news.

At least now everything on our homepage will be 100% unique

This will include competitions, hardware first looks, more OC3D.tv content, Folding@home updates, bench team updates and some other features that are still currently being held under the official OC3D secrets act!

i did come here for the new's a long time ago but it did dry up so this is not unexpected. so good idea's for using the space to brining folding to the front page there are very few site that do that, tip of the hat for that idea should bring alot more folder to your team

I am looking forward to the new content that is replacing the news section, only on a rare occasions did I read something out of the news section and that was only when it caught my eye.

It sounds sad, but a lot of the proper news just isn't posted anywhere. You mostly tend to get it from your own inside sources via email. And with the whip of not being allowed to say too much, what is posted does cause a lot of fun.

It would have been nice to have had a proper new section that didn't latch onto every other made up 'source' info story, and there is a lot of it on a daily basis. You need someone dedicated to it tho. PV used to do a massive job of this, way back when. Everyone now wants to be first with this'n'that even tho most the stuff they bring out is laughable. As with most of the 'net, it's all about hits.

How the site will cope with the eventual increase in links to other sites is going to be interesting. The speculation and run up to the 8790 or 690 will be it's first wave.
