OC3D Forum Downtime/Move

Hopefully most of you won't have even noticed the downtime, but the forums (and shortly the rest of the site) have been moved over to the new OC3D server environment

Not that it was exactly slow before, but I'd be interested to hear if any of you find the forums to be more/less snappy than before. We're now running on dual load balanced servers based on Linux with custom compiled components just for hosting this site

I have to admit I do not see a lot of difference, but that might be my crappy wireless connection playing up

And as addict I did notice the downtime ^^

Luckily for me I was sleeping

Think its a bit snappier, but then again, lovely BT knocked out our phone line, so the speeds are only just recovering to above dial up speeds...

Site is definitely better now. I never worked on the uni connection, but it does now.

There may be a million and one reasons why it's so slow here for me, but it is way slower than usual (I normally get great speed on the forum). I've only just been able to get on, but yet it still takes an age to load.

I'm just doing some failover testing at the mo lads. Sorry for the slowness. Its down to one of the webservers being intentionally offline and your PC's having to 'hunt' for the other one.
