Ok so I manage to overclock my Q6600 to 3.ghz with ease. Now when i over clock it to 3.2 my ram overclocks itself as well which i dont want it to do and the timings change to 5-5-5-10 and they used to be 5-5-5-12, when i go into bios to change the ram speed it gives me a couple of speeds to chagne to but not my original speed. Can anyone give me any ideas.

To change your RAM divider head into Advanced > Jumper free configuration > DRAM Frequency and change it from whatever you have it set at or auto. DRAM Frequency for the CPU with the nominal 266MHz FSB allows setting the memory to DDR2 667, 800 etc etc

When you raise the fsb the ram frequency rises. You can't really avoid this other than playing with the dividers to get your ram running at a 'safe' speed...

As for the timings, set to manual to stop them changing from 5-5-5-12 or whatever you want them at.
