NZXT Switch 810 and a push-pull 360mm rad

Hi everyone, I'm new here but I just watched Tom's awesome reviews of the switch 810 special editions (matte black and gun metal) and the original white version.

I am looking at putting a system together and would prefer the white colour, but I would also like the modified 5.25" drive plate from the newer matte black and gun metal versions (which has the airflow cut outs). Has anyone here bought a white version of the case recently that can confirm NZXT have also modified the 5.25" plate in the white model? I'm thinking of putting in a 360mm x 60mm rad in the top with push-pull fans, but would prefer to not have to mess around with cutting out pieces of metal on my first ever water cooling build.

I'm hoping I haven't double posted from somewhere else, but I did search through his vids and the forums here and couldn't find anything specific.

The newer ones have been changed but youll never know what one you get and as said above its not hard.

If you can cut that out you shouldnt really be building a water loop IMHO

It's quite easy to cut the plate, I managed to do it and have no modding/metal/wood work skills at all to be honest, but I managed it by just taking my time and not rushing.

Thanks for the replies guys. It's not so much a matter of not being able to mod, more just that if I could avoid it easily, I would. Guess I'm just lazy :P

The build is going ahead, so here's to hoping they have fixed it.
