Personally, I'd call it "Listening to input from the community". This seems like a good thing for everyone involved here so no need to make it sound negative :p

hmmm, should I go for a 3rd H440 :D

Hope these come in stock soon. Really want a full tower version to come out with more rad support.

As i have said in a different thread. hmmmm i wonder where they got the idea from ^_^

I will say yes they stole the idea from TTL

It is just a bit of a joke saying that they stole our idea.

With the redesigns for the top and front airflow and the HDD slots I can say as an engineer that they have definitely been considering this for a long while. since before the video anyway.

'Inspired by Tom' :)
TBH I think it's a really good facelift. I've been tossing up between this and the Define S. This new update is tipping things back towards NZXT. Airflow sorted. Just need it in blue now :)

This.

It's long been known that these companies do not listen to their customers. Richard Swinburne (BindiBagi) wrote a killer article about it in Custom PC a year or two ago.

This is also why I don't have any hate for Thermaltake, because they just give people what they want at a lower price. Their latest chassis is actually quite awesome.

Back when I was a graphic designer and part time coder for an emulator project we (myself and a friend of mine) decided to make our own program to run on the emulator. We named it, penned out all of our ideas on a forum and then I put up some very rough graphics to show what the machine would look like.

It never really went anywhere.. Any way, 18 months later we were on the motorway in his car and lo and behold there stood a fruit machine, exactly as we had envisioned it.

Was I erm, annoyed? at first yeah. My pee was really boiling. Then after an hour or so I actually felt really proud of myself :)

They say that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

TTL did it first, the idea was out publicly and NZXT then learned people like it. That's in a way pre-release advertisement. I think NZXT should give free new products (or just their new chasis) for a year to TTL or at least a thank you for the free marketing.

Aye I second this notion although they probably won't coz their A** hats, without the beta testers and reviewers they are just full of fail... there I said it!

Looking at NZXT's site on a real PC now (not my phone) I've noticed the updates go across the range so it's a good move on their behalf. The only issue is that with the same model numbers it will be hard to tell whether you're ordering the new and improved version or the original.

I agree with WYP? (hey just noticed the authors names no longer appear on the articles) that they really should call it the H440+ or the H450 or something.

To be fair yes TTL did the colour swap a couple of months ago but this kind of refresh I think is probably based on a lot of feedback from the whole community - including colours. Lots of people liked the Razer version apart from the green logo etc. Also I'm not sure how quickly they could add a whole new colour scheme although admittedly it is only the plastic trim so maybe it's a thirty second job. (I work in an organization that takes six months just to work out what colour the cupboard doors should be in the staff room)

I note there is no Red/White version on the range either. White and blue would also look the dogs proverbials imho so there's still room for improvement.

Dammnit I just got the Define S too! I would have easily picked this new H440 over the Define S:p

Either both are great cases! It's kind of down to budget, on a small budget? Define S. Got some leeway? This new H440.

Only about $30 difference here. I was leaning towards Define S for airflow running dual cards and future possible water cooling - I just didn't like the void at the front unless there's a nice res or radiator taking it up.

The H440 looks nicer in my opinion but I like the internal layout of the back of the motherboard side of the Define... Yes both are great cases!
