Nvidia's stock price falls 10% overnight as analysts re-access the company

Finally. Every stock anaylst has been saying for the past few months Nvidia was trading WAY to high for what they actually should be at.

Nvidia is still probably like, "Meh, who cares?" as they roll around in the green stuff.

Not really... 10% decrease in stocks because of an analyst group said they shouldn't be that high is like getting a bad rating. Now everything nvidia does will be scrutinized and watched closely. If they fail to pull off something big they won't see an increase of stock value.. a mistake could bring them even lower, faster

Very true.
They have been trading higher than they should be for months and months now. Imagine. You own nvidia stock. You wake up and find you lost 10% of your money. Ouch

I was joking. I have no idea what Nvidia is doing right now. I'm completely clueless when it comes to stock analytics.

They should be sweating.

AMD have CPUs (and will have a huge range of Ryzen) APUs coming that no one can touch on the iGPU side, GPUs (could be so so) as well as both of the console contracts etc.

Nvidia are trying to get business elsewhere but it just doesn't seem to be happening.

This is why the whole business with Intel pairing with AMD for apus confused me, surely it would of been more logical to strike a deal with Nvidia

Nvidia are doing very fine getting money from other sources..
In fact that was the reason the stock was so high in the first place

Intel do not like Nvidia. They fell out years ago. Can't remember what it was over but it was right around the time Nvidia stopped making chipsets and motherboards.

Intel told them something, Nvidia answered back and basically riled them up and Intel said "OK then we are not licensing you any more sockets". And that was that. No more Nvidia chipsets (thank god, they were all monopolised garbage at the end any way).

Nvidia manage to upset pretty much every other major company. They're big mouthed bullies basically who talk a lot of crap. They've been crap talking since the start. That is how they managed to finish off companies like 3Dlabs, 3DFX and so on, by basically smack talking.

TBH? that is pretty much where it came from in the world of computers. They brought the aggression and the heavy handed marketing. They also made people feel better, by selling them a package (and not just a GPU.. Bragging rights, nice looking boxes etc).

And you know what they say... Bigger you are....

If they don't find another avenue soon they are going to be in trouble. They can only shrink so far, then what do they do when the market goes stale, like it did in the 80s and we were flooded with hundreds of computers that were all pretty much the same.

Alien..
Idk what you are on about, but as someone who can't stand nvidia as a company, I am telling you they are making alot of money and are doing more than fine.. they definitely have many sources of income AMD wish they could have.

10% isn't much, happens all the time on the stock market.. can fall 10% one day, increase by 20% the next.

Not really. That's pretty rare.
Not even AMD jumped that much in one day. And they have gone up 620% in a very very quick time frame.

Typical stock trades are a few points. Which translates to .0x-.xx. Usually around 1% unless something good or bad happens.

There are exceptions though. Google, MS, FB, Amazon (netflix is getting there too) are so large in the stock market, there's fluctuates quite a bit.

So are most stock analysts, if you put several of them together you get a herd of sheep.

You'd be pretty surprised that's not entirely true. Most of the best leaks comes from the stock guys with the most inside information.

Yes it might be rare for single company to go up and down share price of more than 10% but it's not rare across the stock market. My shares that I hold in a company literally did what I just mentioned last week.
