Nvidia's RTX 5090 could be 60-70% faster than an RTX 4090 - Leaker Claims

"Nvidia’s RTX 5090 could cost as much as $2,000-$2,500"

We'll find out around October time but if that's true then I'm never touching an Nvidia product ever again, That's not just greed, That's chronic greed.

I'm very anti nvidia tbh over the years, but the killing blow for me to ever return is that stupid connector.

So I've no interest in this card and certainly not at that kind of price £1000 tops is my budget and i don't care who makes it these prices are way out of line over the years.

To be fair and honest though, why do anyone even care about these so called "leaks"? It's just desinformation, to make you think something and to cause confusion. Just wait untill valid information comes out from reliable sources instead, just like with anything in society.

5090 can take a long walk of a short pier!

Honestly I am at the point now, where if I needed to buy a new GPU, I would just sell my PC and buy a PS5.

I have a laptop that can run most games at 60fps, (4060) but that would only be used for games where I cannot use Keyboard & Mouse on the Xbox or PS.

AMD are not an option for me as they still cannot produce drivers that don't cause issues, my work laptop has now been swapped out again from an AMD APU to a Intel based one, because the AMD one kept falling over when using a dock or even using the single HDMI port on the laptop to a single monitor, 3 different laptops all of which had to be reinstalled because the AMD drivers messed up so badly, but the Intel one has never fell over!

DLSS has made GPU last longer. No one needs to upgrade even if you have a 2080 card.

Its because people "want" the best thats given Nvidia opportunity to bleed us of money.

This is why Nvidia will continue to make new DLSS versions require a newer GPU. To keep people in the update loop.

im more than happy with DLSS2.x

besides, I dont need my connectors burning up :)

Unfortunately, eventually you'll probably end up with the connector at some point in the future. It's basically the future connector unfortunately. We can only hope that they made it more robust for each iteration.

I agree however many people don't. They don't like not being a part of the exclusive club. Kind of like Apple. Everybody has to have type of product so they can feel a part of the club.

I got a 3070ti for $200. Only reason I got it and sold my 1080, otherwise I would have kept it. 1080 did just enough for the games I mostly play at 1440p.

Makes no sense when im basically saying im not upgrading at all, sticking with my current gen and DLSS2.x

It does make sense cause at some point in the future, you'll have to upgrade, wether you like it or not. Either when the day comes when your current rig is simply not up for it and/or you simply stop using it all togheter :)

But if he's not upgrading, At all, Due to his current GPU being his last, Then he'll never have to upgrade ^_^
