Nvidia's GTX 10 series graphics cards have returned to MSRP pricing in the US and UK

I went from a 290X to a 1080 a year ago and i've never looked back although I do wish I kept my 290X for Nostalgic reasons.

Yeah, the 290X has this kind of retro vibe to it, doesn't it? It signifies the last time there was competition in the high-end space. Those that bought them knew they were getting a great card while the 'sheeple' all bought the overpriced 780Ti's that ran out of VRAM within two years and stopped being supported by Nvidia. The 290X is still a crackin' little 1080p card.

Today on eu.evga.com all Ti are still in auto notify and around €900+. Over on Dutch webshops they're not available, on an unknown delivery schedule and well over €1000! In short; nothing has changed here (we are the little guy compared to the larger US and UK) and no stock ever arrived here, leading me to indeed believe that whatever is and becomes available is the bare minimum for Nvidia to create the illusion/appear to be active.

As for Dutch prices as they are I have very little hope for affordable/reasonably priced Turing cards. In my experience Dutch webshops are bastards when it comes to prices and deals/discounts don't exist here.

We'll see but I have no hope
