Nvidia will be holding a GTX Gaming Celebration event on February 28th

I'm really keen to see how they choose to fit the 1080ti into the lineup. The Titan XP has been out for so long now that I can see them undercutting it and releasing the 1080ti as a slightly cut down (of a cut down) chip with much higher clock speeds to pretty much be on the same level as a Titan XP. Even at $800 that would be extremely popular and would spit on Vega 10 which may only be competing against the 1080. A 4k-ready GPU at $800 would be ridiculous, in both a good way and a bad way.

well redgamingtech just did a video on the 1080ti, i wont link it because im not entirly sure on the rules to linking. basics of it though, gp 102, fewer cuda then titan xp, higher speed and around £650-£800

I agree with what Jayz said the GTX1080Ti will come in between the pricing of the GTX1080 & Titan XP so the GTX1080 will drop in price.

So in the process might end screwing AMD Vega if people think for one minute that Vega is going to be cheap well you have rocks in your head cause AMD is taking a hit on the CPU's i don't think they're not willing to take a hit on the GPU sales.

I have no issue what so ever that Nvidia is having an event on the same day as AMD.

Meh, Usually I'd be pumped for this but oddly enough I'm more excited about my work and new training schedule than a new PCB ^_^

do you have evidence to back up this claim?

No, I don't have any evidence, it's just my thoughts.

Which i'm allow to have on the matter.

I think AMD are taking a hit on the higher end ones but not the lower end ones, they seem to be the correct pricing.

You lie you have undying for Nvidia :p

Nvidia's stuff is predictable, Bring out the 1080 Ti which spec wise is half way between the 1080 and Titan X i.e a cut down Titan X, At a price not that far away from the Titan X.

I'm more excited to see AMD's product stack :)

I know dude i was trolling you

I know people are more excited to see what AMD has but for me with AMD i'm just Meh.

AMD just can't get me excited from all of the "In House" Benchmarks i have seen i'm just like Meh.

But i guess with some people that makes me a Fanboy and you know what i'm more than Okay with that :)

If some people want to keep calling me a Fanboy it doesn't bother me cause to me it's only words on a Computer Screen :)

I know ^_^

I'm actually getting less and less pumped for new hardware releases, Broadwell-E launched and I was like "oh..ok", The Titan X launched and I was like "Oh....yeah", Kabylake launched and I was like "yeah......".

The performance jumps are just so small they aren't in the least bit interesting to me.

This is what is making AMD's new line up so interesting. just to compete with team blue or green on performance will be the most interesting thing in hardware since the launch of sandy bridge. I can't recall using anything AMD since the phenom days. may have to look at moving over again.

I'd rather would love to see a Titan X Ti with a fully enabled chip than something inbetween the already cut down Titan X (Pascal) and the 1080.
