nVidia to launch G92 8800GTS tomorrow.

Need to see some benchies of these versus a high-stock-clocked GT. Think it`s gonna be a lame duck if the last review some1 posted about had it versus a 600mhz GT and competed with it.

Doesn`t bode well when they say it may beat a GT at `certain resolutions`.

Where do you guys stand? EVGA 8800gt or EVGA 8800gts 512mb? EVGA for the stepup...as i wanna upgrade for a more crysis capable card in february!

They are apparantly going to be priced just under the current 8800gtx prices and be on par with the gtx performance.
 
I think its a mistake only offering it with 512mb RAM tbh. I would want 768mb or even 1GB RAM

Well if and when the stock situation on both cards settles down, if the new GTS is only ~ 20 quid more then it may be worth getting. Especially as the GT cooling is very questionable. Chances are when they come out there will be the same stock problems as the GT as it really is in a must have and can afford price range.
